Garmidn Terms of Purchase

These Terms of Purchase govern all orders for Garmidn GPS products (including sports & fitness, outdoor recreation, marine, automotive, and aviation devices) placed through our website. By submitting an order, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms, which complement our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.

1. Order Placement & Confirmation

  • Eligibility: To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete information (name, shipping address, contact details). Garmidn reserves the right to refuse orders due to incorrect information, suspected fraud, or regulatory restrictions in your location.
  • Order Confirmation: Upon submitting your order, you will receive an automated email acknowledging receipt. A final “Order Confirmation” email (with order number and details) will be sent once payment is processed and your order is approved—this constitutes a binding contract between you and Garmidn.
  • Pricing & Currency: All product prices and transactions are denominated in United States Dollars (USD). Prices displayed on the website include applicable product costs but exclude import duties, taxes, or customs fees (see Section 4 for details). Prices are subject to change without notice, but the price at the time of order placement will be honored.

2. Payment Terms

  • Accepted Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and other secure payment methods displayed at checkout.
  • Payment Processing: Payment is processed immediately upon order submission. If payment is declined, your order will not be processed—our team will notify you to resolve payment issues within 2 business days.
  • Fraud Prevention: Garmidn may verify payment details or request additional documentation (e.g., proof of address) to prevent fraud. Orders may be held temporarily during verification.

3. Fulfillment & Delivery

  • Processing & Shipping: All orders (standard and customized products) are processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Once shipped, delivery takes 6–12 business days to all locations worldwide (no distinction between domestic and international timelines).
  • Shipping Logistics: We offer free global shipping for all orders—no minimum purchase required. Shipping is handled via trusted courier partners, and a tracking number will be sent to your email once your order ships (allow 1 business day for tracking updates).
  • Delivery Responsibility: Garmidn is responsible for ensuring your order is shipped in accordance with these terms, but we are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control. You must provide a accurate, accessible shipping address—we are not responsible for lost orders due to incorrect address information.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • For international orders, you are solely responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by your country/region. These fees are not included in product prices or covered by our free shipping offer.
  • Garmidn will provide standard commercial invoices and necessary documentation (e.g., compliance certificates for aviation/marine products) to assist with customs clearance, but we have no control over customs processes or fee amounts.
  • If you refuse delivery due to unpaid duties/taxes, the order will be returned to Garmidn. You will be responsible for return shipping costs plus a 20% restocking fee, with the remaining amount refunded to your original payment method.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Return Eligibility: You may return any Garmidn product for a refund within 60 calendar days of delivery, provided the product is in working condition, has no physical damage, and includes all original packaging and accessories. Customized aviation/marine products are eligible for returns only if defective (see Refund Policy for exceptions).
  • Return Process: To initiate a return, contact our support team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. You will receive a return authorization number (RA#) and shipping instructions—return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the return is due to a defective product or Garmidn error.
  • Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned product (typically 2–3 business days after delivery to our warehouse), refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary by payment provider.

6. Product Availability & Changes

  • Stock Limitations: Products displayed on the website are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock after your order is placed, we will notify you within 2 business days and offer the choice of waiting for restock or canceling for a full refund.
  • Product Modifications: Garmidn may update product specifications (e.g., software features, accessories) without notice. If a product is modified after your order, we will ship the updated version and notify you of changes.

7. Cancellations & Changes

  • Order Cancellations: You may cancel an order for a full refund within 24 hours of order confirmation. After 24 hours, cancellations are only allowed if the order has not yet shipped—contact [email protected] with your order number to request cancellation.
  • Order Changes: Changes to shipping address or product type are only permitted within 24 hours of order confirmation. After this window, changes may not be possible if the order has entered processing.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Garmidn’s liability for defective products is limited to replacement, repair, or refund (as outlined in our Refund Policy). We are not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost use of the product, missed activities) unless required by law.
  • For aviation and marine products, Garmidn does not guarantee compliance with your local regulatory standards—you are responsible for verifying compatibility before purchase.

9. Changes to Terms

Garmidn may update these Terms of Purchase to reflect operational changes or legal requirements. Material updates will be posted on our website and notified via email to recent purchasers, with changes effective 7 days after notification. Your continued use of our website or placement of new orders constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
